Merrick, NY

This Merrick, NY project involved a kitchen gut renovation along with selective plaster removal in the foyer and hallway areas to prepare the home for a redesigned layout and updated systems. Our demolition team carefully removed the existing kitchen finishes, cabinetry, and wall assemblies while opening portions of the foyer and hallway to expose the original framing. By selectively removing plaster and interior materials, the space was stripped down to the structural framework, allowing contractors clear access to upgrade electrical wiring, plumbing, and insulation while maintaining the integrity of the surrounding structure.

Selective interior demolition like this requires careful planning to ensure only the necessary areas are opened while protecting adjacent rooms and structural components. Once the kitchen and entry areas were taken back to the studs, the home was left clean and ready for the next phase of renovation. Goodelman Demolition regularly performs kitchen gut and selective interior demolition projects throughout Merrick and Nassau County, helping homeowners and contractors begin their renovations with safe, organized, and professional demolition services.
